Coinslot Relay: Prevent users from inserting coin if they forget to press the “INSERT COIN” button
Sometimes, users forget to press the insert coin button before they drop coins into the coinslot. This will result in NOT CREDITED logs in your
sales inventory. This guide will teach you how to setup a relay to the coinslot.
How does relay work?
The relay will turn off the coinslot if INSERT COIN button is not pressed. The coinslot will not accept any coin if it is turned off.
Once a user presses the INSERT COIN button. The coinslot will turn on and will accept the coins.
Materials
- 1x 5 Volts Single Channel Relay Module
- 1x 2N2222 Transistor
- 1x 4.7K Ohm Resistor
- 12v Led SMD light (optional)
